Make Your Tapa Kids Program, Auckland Museum

This is a Fijituwawa initiative to showcase the creative artwork our young ones make during the Fijian Winter Lecture Series. The theme of this exhibition is "Make your Own Tapa", linked with the Significance of Tapa to Pacific Peoples lecture, organised by Tarisi Vunidilo. Thanks to Losalini Dulakiverata for supporting this initiative and for helping our young ones to create their own unique masterpieces. They are all winners! The participants to the program were of Tongan and Fijian descent and they are: Siotame, Takau Nove, Pirrin and Gabriel Vailahi. Merewairita and Leo Vunidilo joined their Tongan cousins in the program. Malo au pito and Vinaka Vakalevu. Enjoy!
